Experience
Stahly Engineering has completed design and construction administration on over 50 bridges in the last 10 years. Our bridge team has become a valuable asset to many Montana County road and bridge departments, assisting with preparation of bridge inventories, inspection of bridges, management of emergency bridge replacement, funding, design, and construction inspection. Combining the construction expertise of TCA Group with the design capabilities of Stahly Engineering & Associates delivers quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions that provide lasting value to our clients and communities.

The evolution of TCA Group
The first bridge jointly worked on by TCA, Inc. and Stahly Engineering & Associates was the Martinsdale Bridge, constructed for Fish, Wildlife & Parks in 1998. This bridge is located on Martinsdale Lake Road about ¼ mile east of the Town of Martinsdale, Montana, and crosses an irrigation canal supplying water to the Martinsdale Reservoir. At the time, TCA, Inc. was providing construction services and Stahly Engineering & Associates was providing design services. TCA has been bidding and constructing bridges designed by Stahly Engineering & Associates on a regular basis ever since.

About Us
Our People

Greg Benjamin, CEO
Greg Benjamin, PE, has been performing bridge design, inspection and construction engineering services since 1994 when he went to work for the Montana Department of Transportation. Greg joined Stahly Engineering and Associates in 1998. Greg finished a Masters of Science Degree, from Montana State University, with an emphasis in structural engineering in 1999 while working full-time for Stahly Engineering as a structural engineer with a focus on bridge projects.

Brenton Hedin, Crane Operator / Equipment Superintendent
Brenton is a seasoned crane and equipment operator. Most recently he served as an equipment operator for a marine construction company, specializing in pile driving, dredging, drilling, socketed piles, outfalls, and docks and piers.

Amy Strainer, MBA, CFO
Amy Strainer has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience in the business world. Her desire for accuracy and efficiency has streamlined our processes to ensure our record keeping is held to the highest standard. Amy’s breadth of experience in finance, accounting, human resources and management makes her a well-rounded member for any team.

Darby Wells, Accounting Technician / Project Coordinator
Darby Wells joined the company as in intern in the summer of 2022. She is attending Montana State University and pursuing a degree in finance, and works part-time for TCA as an Accounting Technician. She has grown in her role to include project coordination and assists with bidding, scheduling, and construction administration.

Spencer Jovick, Project Superintendent
Spencer Jovick graduated from Montana State University, with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology in spring of 2023. Spencer interned for TCA Group in the summer of 2022 and has signed on full-time after graduation to be the project superintendent. Spencer has experience with quantity take-offs, Revit, materials, and general construction duties.
